Lota is 49 years old, a high school graduate, married with 2 grown-up children aged 26 and 28 years old. Lota is mature, responsible and very accommodating, friendly, and hardworking, most of all have lots of patience towards work, Lota is also very close to her employer's children, especially the youngest one, who took care of him since she was a newborn. Employer 3: 18/09/2009 up to date 2021--Currently working for Chinese, living in an HDB apartment with 3 bedrooms, her duties were to take care of the 3 children ages 12, 14, and 16 years old. She takes care of the children since they were newborns, Lota manages and is in charge of all areas of housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, washing the car, and running errands. She has been working now working with her current employer for 12 years already. nevertheless, due to the Pandemic, her current employer is now working from home, and also the children have grown up, they are now independent so her employer will let her find a new employer. Lota can be released from her employment in November 2021.
Employer 2: 08/10/2005 to 18/09/2009 -- Worked for a Chinese family, staying in an HDB apartment with 3 bedrooms, She took care of 2 kids ages 5 and 7 years old, did housework and cooking, and went to the wet market so that she can buy fresh fish, meat and vegetables. Lota has completed her contract for 4 years and she decided not to renew due to her low salary, She also understands the employer that they are not able to increase her salary anymore due to financial family income.
Employer 1: 04/04/2003 to 03/06/2005--work in HDB, living in HDB taking care of 2 children ages newborn, and 6 years old, She is also in charge of sending and fetching the children to and from school, does all the housework, cooking, and grocery shopping. She has completed her contract and then went back to the Philippines to be with her family for 2 months. And then came back again to Singapore to earn money for her family.
